Sapa off the beaten path

The 1-day off the beaten path will take you to less tourist’s crowded places in Lao Cai. Vehicles will pick you up from the hotel in the morning to Supan village. This is when the trekking start when you will follow the mountainous trail toward Ban Ho village, a village of Tay ethnicity. Ban Ho is surrounded with winding pathways. Here, visitors can admire not only charming natural landscape, open , unique poetic space from the wood floor house but also live in the tourist –friendly environment. Visitors will feel a sense of warm welcome and join in community activities such as singing, dancing and traditional ceremonies. The ancient craft has been restored and has been expanding, most notably cotton cultivation and weaving. Brocade tradition over the years has been conserved by the Tay women who weave Tay’s beautiful costumes and many decorative products in the family. After spending some time having lunch with the locals, learning traditional dances and songs, you will continue trekking towards Nam Toong village, a village of the Red Dao people. You can choose to sip the highland tea with the locals or swim in the refreshing water of the waterfall nearby. After which, you will trek back to Ban Ho to board the vehicles taking you back to the hotel.
