Silver Waterfall and Sin Chai Village

The one day trip to the Heaven’s gate will be a memorable one. The private car will pick travelers up at the hotel to go to Muong Hoa valley, where Silver fall is.  There is lush vegetation around the fall area with refreshing air and breathtaking scenery. This is where you can start trekking to the top of mountain. Only 3km trek, you can witness the diverse biodiversity in the Hoang Lien national park. As you reach the top, the heaven’s gate, you can have a panoramic view of the whole valley down below. After a short break, you will start trekking downhill, through the bamboo forest in the Hoang Lien national park. Lunch will be served by a lovely spot by a river. You will be surrounded with beautiful scenery. After that, you will continue visiting Sin Chai village before heading off the main road to go back to your hotel. With only some physical exercise required, this trip is a worthwhile one to explore the beautiful nature of Hoang Lien national park. Silver Falls is located right next to the highway 4D, arterial roads to the provinces of Lai Chau, and only about 12 km to the west from the center of Sapa town. Silver Falls is over 200 meters high is upstream of Muong Hoa. Standing on a mountain in the center of Ham Rong in Sapa on a clear day, you can see the fall cascading down in silver white color, thus resulting in the name. About 3km from the fall, you can reach the top of Hoang Lien Mountain, or the locals call it “heaven’s gate”. The winding road from the fall to the top is steep and with many abrupt turns. This road is called Tram Ton.
